Maple Mustard Pork Chops
Marinade
  • 1C maple syrup
  • 1/2C soy sauce
  • 1/3C dry mustard
  • 1/2C vegetable oil
Sauce
  • 1C maple syrup
  • 1/3C strong prepared mustard
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed through a oress
  • 1T cracked black pepper
  • 1t dried thyme leaves, crushed
  • 1C mild oil
  • 8 Bone in pork chops
  1. I put both sauces in a mason jar and shake to mix.
  2. Trim all fat off edges of pork chops and put chops in 1 quart zip lock bag with marinade. Marinate for 2-4 hours turning bag every 1/2 hour.
  3. On the hottest grill you can get, grill chops until done: about 1-4 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the chop and the heat of the grill.
  4. Foil the cooked chops for 10 minutes.
  5. Before serving brush on heated Maple Mustard sauce.
