 | The Cooker |
On the nose of the cooker we mounted my old NBBD cooker. The end of the firebox was cut off and welded on to the end of the cook chamber. (We cut the end off the chamber also). This gives us a clean out door and a damper on the cooker. A cradle was made out of two inch angle irons, with a pivot made out of a 5/8 inch grade eight bolt and a pile of stainless steel washers. The cooker folds against the front of the cooker to travel and rotates out to cook on. We use this cooker direct and indirect to grill and cook at higher temperatures. This is installed above the factory installed front basket.
