Rice Krispies Treat Log
  • 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 1 package (10 oz. about 40) regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 Large Chocolate Bar (3.5 oz)
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  1. Line sheet cake pan with foil; spray lightly with non-stick spray.
  2. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
  3. Add RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.
  4. Press mixture evenly into foiled pan.
  5. Melt chocolate and peanut butter in saucepan and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
  6. Spread a coat of the chocolate and peanut butter mixture over cereal mixture within 1-inch of edges.
  7. Starting with shortest side, roll up like you would a jelly roll, peeling foil away from cereal mixture.
  8. Wrap roll in foil or plastic wrap.
  9. Store in fridge, seam side down, about 1 hour until firm.
  10. Cut into 1/2-inch slices.
